BENDING THE RULES | AOIR 2016

On Saturday, October 8th 2016, members of Humbolt University's  academic community joined Alison Harvey (chair), Jessalyn Keller, Mary Elizabeth Luka, Mélanie Millette, Tamara Shepherd for Bending the Rules - a discussion at the 2016 Association of Internet Researchers conference.

The fishbowl was focused on recent developments in feminist digital research methods and built a set of developing research enquiries by bringing related programs of research (i.e. sustainability, big data, thick data, digital labour etc.) into dialogue with one another. The discussion explored topics such as ethics of care, creative citizenship, youth and social media, digital cultures, digital archives as a method and policy.
